Confused

Hi new to Social Login plugin (free version) and getting things setup. I have the plugin installed and configured – best I can determine but am having issues. I have been looking in my MO account and at the various areas. No I am confused. I thought that installing and configuring the plugin on my wordpress site was all that was required? As I began testing I noticed.

    1. The SL popups say “Proceed to miniorange.com” before user credential area (not good). I see In my account that it appears that there is a whole configuration I need to do here as well?

I google for more setup information (beyond wordpress plugin) and started configuring here. Is this necessary? Also, is the free version time limited? Will I need to upgrade my plan to use going forward?

Is there a good setup guide/video beyond the “other” services provided here? everything on youtube is outdated.

Thank you for your help. The plugin looks good but I’m not sure I understand what I am “getting into” here and need clarification.

    Hi Dave,

There is no need of visiting your miniOrange account. It is sufficient to install and configure your plugin to integrate with your website. We ask users to register/login with miniOrange for authentication and support them.

We provide default configured apps for social login. These all apps are hosted by us that’s why you see that popup showing proceed to miniOrange. If you want to skip this then you can create your own custom app of google. To create a custom app go to custom app tab of miniOrange social login plugin. Click on add application. Select the google app and follow the steps given there.

The free version of the plugin does not have any time limit but you will get more features in the paid version of the plugin.

Thanks for your suggestion, we will create a video to show the working of the plugin.

Let me know if you need any further help.

    Thanks.
