Trying to configure the plugin within WordPress. LDAP connection and User Mapping configuration all work until Test authentication. It always reports “invalid password, try again…” but I know the password works and the same problem for other people who joined me for the test. What went wrong?
The troubleshooting hints from you:
The username-password you are entering is correct.
The user is not present in the search bases you have specified against SearchBase(s) above.
Your Search Filter may be incorrect and the username mapping may be to an LDAP attribute other than the ones provided in the Search Filter
none of them sounds like my situation. Help needed. Thanks.
