OTP over email not working

    Hello, I’m using miniorange with WordPress. I now need to setup a new WP user with 2FA, when I try logging in for the first time, and enter my email address in the ‘Setup Two Factor’ dialog box, I get an error ‘There was an error in sending OTP over email. Please click on Resend OTP to try again.’ resending does not work.

    I tried testing my SMTP setup on miniorange admin dashboard, and it works, but when I try testing ‘OTP over email’ method, I get an error message with no text, just the red background with an exclamation mark in it.

    I really need to get this working ASAP.

    I’m not sure if this is the right Forum section, but couldn’t find one that suits the question better.

    Hi Linas,

    Are you using the free version of our WordPress Two Factor plugin? Can you share a screenshot of the error message so that we can know where exactly the issue is?

    Once we know where exactly you face this issue we can quickly get it working.

    Can I use OTP over email a system to use with woocommerce login? In addition to registration
