In case of miniOrange as a user store, we handle account lockout within miniOrange itself and users will be unable to access any resources protected for their account. In case of an external user store (like AD), user provisioning for lockout needs to be setup and in case a user is disabled in miniOrange, that syncs back to Active Directory. Note that an LDAPs setup needs to be there for this to succeed.

    Hi William,

You can find the answers below:

    1. Do I need to set any scope value?

You need to put the value as public.

    2. Do I need to set any redirect URI or not?

Redirect URI can be the base URL of Doorkeeper.

    3. Do I need select the Confidential value or not?

    Can you elaborate on this?

    4. Are “authorize endpoint”, “Access token endpoint”, and “Get user info endpoint” using doorkeeper default route, right?

Yes. The default routes should be used.

The feature to fetch attributes and update local profile is part of the premium versions.

The recent updates to the plugin fetch the user from both username and email and if in both cases the user is not found, a new user is created.

The premium versions allow users to sign-in with local WordPress accounts (even those which are not in Active Directory).

MCrypt is deprecated and is not support on PHP v7.2+. The plugin now makes use of OpenSSL.

    Hi Tom,

We are going through the email Template that you have set.
It looks like it might not be in the correct format or have newline characters.
We will revert back once we have corrected your template.

    Hi Theodore,

    Just to confirm.
You would like to use your own SMS Gateway provider with our 2FA plugin?
Is this the plugin that you are talking about: link?

Using your own SMS Gateway with the Plugin is easy if HTTP API endpoints are supported.
Could you let me know which SMS Provider you are currently using?

There is an updated version which you can download from the miniOrange Admin Console from the Licensing tab. It does not depend on the MCrypt extension.

Yes, miniOrange provides a way to restrict the validity of session cookies of an end user’s session in Shopify stores. In addition to Single Sign-On (SSO) Solution provided by miniOrange for both Shopify Plus and Non-Plus Stores.

An authenticated session tracks the status of a client who is “signed in” to your Store. A session identifier (ID) is provided to the entity once they are logged in. Here our session id tracks the record of the active user and is stored in the form of memory. This helps to approve the authentication for the sessions trying to get authorized. This ensures that Adaptive Authentication is successfully implemented.

IP Restriction is one such method in fraud prevention to restrict access within a network. Click here to check an example to restrict access to Google Apps.

So with this seamless adaptive Single Sign-On (SSO) we enable users to access the Shopify Stores and protect you from danger session management hazard techniques.

    Hi Tom,

It looks like Zoom might not be supporting RelayState Parameters.
I have dropped a support query asking them about the same.
Will keep you posted on the same.

    Hi Dave,

There is no need of visiting your miniOrange account. It is sufficient to install and configure your plugin to integrate with your website. We ask users to register/login with miniOrange for authentication and support them.

We provide default configured apps for social login. These all apps are hosted by us that’s why you see that popup showing proceed to miniOrange. If you want to skip this then you can create your own custom app of google. To create a custom app go to custom app tab of miniOrange social login plugin. Click on add application. Select the google app and follow the steps given there.

The free version of the plugin does not have any time limit but you will get more features in the paid version of the plugin.

Thanks for your suggestion, we will create a video to show the working of the plugin.

Let me know if you need any further help.

    Thanks.
